Twelve free employability courses for students and job-seekers in and around Siliguri: communication, problem solving, workplace tools, and an honest introduction to AI. Humrahi runs them as a Skills Development Network partner institute, supported by the Wadhwani Foundation.
Free, always. Open to anyone from Class 9 upward, whether you are still in school, in college, or looking for work.

On June 5, 2026, Siliguri had its first plogging event. Volunteers cleaned the railway tracks and road corridors alongside a run.
They filled bag after bag with what came off the tracks, and kept going long after the run itself had finished.

Most organisations draw themselves in the middle of the diagram. Six years here taught us the opposite. A neighbourhood rarely needs another centre. It needs what's already around it to connect.
So we work at the edges, across Siliguri. Nothing in this network belongs to us. It just has to hold.
Businesses that already operate sustainably, put in front of the communities that need them. We don't run them and don't take a cut.
Another NGO leads; we add ground presence so their reach goes further. Their name on it, not ours.
What a neighbourhood paid to get rid of becomes something with a value, and someone earning from it.
Food, schools, health. Nobody funds a photograph of these, and everything above rests on them.
